A Norwegian Grammar Sparrer
The NTNU project 'A Norwegian Grammar Sparrer' ('sparrer' as short for 'sparring partner') provides a language learner with an online facility where she can try out Norwegian sentences and get feedback on grammatical patterns of her choice. Vocabulary is fairly unrestricted, except that foreign names and names of foreign places are normally not recognized. Sentences should not exceed 10 words. The interface allows up to 10 sentences at the time, but make sure to press 'Enter' for each new sentence. The button 'Info' (or the link Classroom:Norwegian Grammar Checking) brings one to a more extensive description of the tool and its functions.
A Norwegian Computational Grammar based on HPSG
The computational grammar NorSource is briefly described on the page Norwegian HPSG grammar NorSource, and has an online demo at the link below, where syntactic combination rules and a semantic representation following the system Minimal Recursion Semantics (MRS) is provided for any grammatical input sentence. When the sentence can be analyzed in more than one way according to the rules of the grammar, the analyses are listed under each other, each with the information mentioned.
