ADRIANA PAGANO is Professor in Translation Studies at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil, where she directs MA dissertations and doctoral theses in the Graduate Programme in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She is a researcher at the Laboratory for Experimentation in Translation at the same university, and is currently working on systemic-functional modelling of the translation process based on data gathered through experimental research.
