This project is sponsored by NUFU ([http://www.uib.no/fa/intkont/nufu/nufu.htm NUFU]), and has been a cooperation project since 1996 between the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim. The name '''The Legon Trondheim Linguistics Project''' is that by which the project is usually referred to, while its official name is '''Computational Lexicography, Typology and Adult Literacy'''.
